Well I have  a few hours left before voting closes on the AV versus first past the post.I am looking at the small version of the independent it is a real lifeline with its summary of britains democraccy via simon demontfortes parliament womens vote,the chartist revolution introduction of the constiuency system womens right to vote the great reform act the vote to stay in the EEC right up to the secret ballot and ballot box...quite an impressive history that other nations will revolt for.
The way the country has been informed about what is clearly a complex issue that will change history and the fabric of political life is a little strange.Does the revolting farmer in the middle east understand more about the upheaval than the high paid city executive.We all need to form informed opinions but what do we make of cameron saying no...milliband yes to AV and clegg yes.Take into account an army of celebrities all being used to push a particular stance...For the man in the street it really must be confusing confusing.
All you can do is make a trully informed decision but with somany welll formed arguments all I can say is good luck.
